Keith and his crew do outstanding work on all my vehicles. Whether it's an oil change, rotating tires, or diagnosing a complex problem, they are always fair and honest about what is going on with your vehicle. This is not your stereotypical auto repair shop. It's refreshing to go to an auto repair shop that will tell you what is wrong, how much it will cost, and stick to the original estimate. Heard lots of great things about Van Meter for years. I was finally given the opportunity to experience their great service for myself. The rumors are true. They really do know how to service cars from A to Z and they could write a book on great customer service. While living in Massachusetts I had a mediocre mechanic. I was just thankful he wasn’t ripping me off. I was not accustomed to the service I received at Van Meter! Everything was done in a timely manner, everything was explained to me and there were no surprises on the bill. Took my sons Jeep to Keith for a steering angle sensor code that it was throwing and a front end alignment. Keith and his techs were able to diagnose and fix the issue. My wife and I decided to use your services since the vehicles at my work are well maintained by your company. My wife had most of the interaction with your staff. She had nothing but great things to say about the friendliness of everyone from the front office to the mechanics working on her van. The scheduling for service was easy and was kept by your staff unlike some experiences we have had elsewhere. The communication of the issues that needed repair was put into terms that my wife could understand (as she is not a mechanic). Some of the issues only required some adjustments and not part replacements. This allowed us to know that you value our best interest and business over just selling us parts that we didn't need. Question: Keith, we need a jump, but the bigger problem is the shifter is locked, so we can't push the car out of the lane. Response: Push the shift lever release button by the gear shifter to release the transmission. Learn something new every day. Worked great.
